The Chronicles of Georgia is one of Tbilisi's most under-visited monuments — 16 massive columns 35m tall, carved with reliefs depicting every era of Georgian history from ancient kings to Queen Tamar. Built by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli in 1985 but never completed, it stands on a hilltop above the Tbilisi Sea with panoramic city views. 20 minutes from downtown and free to visit.
