Why book Georgia tours with a local operator

Sakartvelo Tours is a registered Georgian tour operator based in Tbilisi, running small-group and private tours across the country of Georgia since 2019. Whether you're looking for a one-day Kazbegi trip from Tbilisi, a multi-day Svaneti trek in the Caucasus mountains, or a Kakheti wine tour through ancient qvevri wineries — we build the itinerary, arrange transport and hotels, and send a real operator to confirm every booking.

Most popular Georgia country tours

  • Kazbegi tour from Tbilisi — day trip along the Georgian Military Highway to Gergeti Trinity Church at 2,170 m.
  • Svaneti tour (3–4 days) — medieval Ushguli towers, Mestia glaciers and the highest inhabited village in Europe.
  • Kakheti wine tour — Signagi, Telavi and family cellars in the birthplace of wine.
  • Tusheti expedition — 4×4 tour across the Abano Pass, one of the world's most spectacular mountain roads.
  • Tbilisi city tour — Old Town, sulfur baths, Narikala fortress and the best local food.
  • Borjomi & Bakuriani — mineral springs, Romanov palace and the Green Monastery.

Why travelers choose us for tours in Georgia

Every Georgia tour on this site is priced transparently in both GEL (₾) and USD ($). We're a registered LLC in Georgia (Sakartvelo Tours 2026 LLC, Tax ID 439875299) — not a booking marketplace or reseller. Our English-speaking Georgian guides know the country deeply, our vehicles are properly insured, and we include hotel pickup in Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi. Flexible cancellation on most tours, and the deposit you pay online is a small percentage — the rest is paid on the tour day.

When to visit Georgia

Georgia is a year-round destination: May–October is best for Caucasus trekking in Svaneti, Kazbegi and Tusheti; September–October is peak season for Kakheti wine tours around the Rtveli grape harvest; December–March is ski season in Gudauri and Bakuriani. Tbilisi city tours run all year.
