How to Get to Tbilisi

Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) is 17 km east of the city and connects to most European hubs plus Dubai, Doha, and Istanbul. From the terminal there are three realistic options: Bolt taxi (25–35 GEL / $10, 20 min), Bus 337 to Freedom Square (1 GEL, 24/7, 40 min), or the airport train to Tbilisi Central Station (0.50 GEL, twice daily, mostly useless).

By land, Tbilisi is the marshrutka hub of the entire South Caucasus. Buses run daily to Yerevan (6h), Baku (10h), Batumi (6h), Kutaisi (4h), and every major Georgian town. Long-distance marshrutkas leave from Didube station in the west of the city.
