How to Get to Batumi

Batumi has its own international airport (BUS) — direct flights from Istanbul, Warsaw, Kyiv, and seasonal European cities. From Tbilisi, the overnight sleeper train (7 hours, $15–25) is the traveler favorite: board in the evening, wake up at the Black Sea.

By day, options include the 5.5-hour marshrutka (25 GEL from Didube), a 5-hour drive on the highway, or the fast morning train (5.5h, $12).
