Georgia's most remote inhabited region — reachable only by 4×4 over Abano Pass.
Tusheti is accessible only over the Abano Pass from Kakheti — a 4–5 hour 4×4 drive from Alvani village. The pass is famous for a reason: single-lane gravel, drop-offs, and no barriers. Do not attempt without experienced local driver. Shared jeeps from Alvani cost 100–130 GEL per seat.
