Cancellations & refunds
Last updated: July 2026. This policy covers tours and travel services organised by Sakartvelo Tours.
Deposit and payment
To confirm a booking you pay 10% of the agreed total price. The deposit is part of the full price — the remaining 90% is paid on arrival. You first send a request, our operator confirms availability, and only then you pay the deposit.
Example: on a 1,000 GEL booking the deposit is 100 GEL and 900 GEL remains payable. Cancelling 21 or more days ahead returns 50 GEL.
Cancellation by the customer
Days are counted between the arrival date agreed in the booking and the date the cancellation is received, Georgian time (Asia/Tbilisi). Exactly 21 days — 50% refunded; 20 days or fewer — non-refundable.
In force from 2026-09-10 (version 2026-09-10). Bookings made before that date keep the terms agreed at the time of booking.
Force majeure exceptions
If a tour cannot take place for reasons beyond our control (natural events, road closures, government restrictions, war, pandemic, mass airline disruption), we offer either:
- Free rescheduling (within 12 months), or
- A full refund without deductions.
Cancellation by us
If a group does not reach the minimum size, or if we cannot safely operate the tour, we will notify you at least 7 days before departure and refund everything you paid.
How to request a refund
- Contact us by email or WhatsApp with your booking number.
- Our operator will confirm the applicable amount within 24 hours.
- Once approved, the refund reaches your card in 5-10 business days.
- You will receive an automated email confirmation when the refund is processed.
