How we handle your data
This page is managed by Sakartvelo Tours and answers common privacy and security questions. It is not an independent certification and may be updated over time.
What data we collect
To create a booking, we save the information you provide in the form: name, phone, email (optional), number of people, preferred date, and additional notes. When leaving a blog comment or tour review, we save the text you provide.
What we use this data for
We use booking contact details to arrange your trip and respond to your request; we do not sell them. Separately, if configured and with your consent, analytics and advertising providers may receive website usage data, as described below.
Security controls
- Database protects row-level security policies — each user sees only their own bookings, and administration is carried out only by authorized operators/administrators.
- Supabase Auth is used for authorization (email/password or Google). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Transport is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
- Sensitive admin panel operations happen via server functions that verify the user's role on every request.
- File storage (tour photos, logo) is protected by access rules — only administrators can upload and delete.
Subprocessors and integrations
The site receives help from the following services only for their functional purpose:
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — database, authorization, file storage.
- Lovable Hosting — site hosting and CDN.
- Google Search Console — search statistics (without personal data).
Cookies and analytics
We use technical storage for authentication. Without consent, we record anonymous first-party page, language, device category and time statistics without cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. When configured, Google Analytics 4 loads only with analytics consent; Google Ads and Meta Pixel load only with marketing consent. These services may use cookies and receive usage data. You can change your choice in cookie settings.
Data retention
Booking records are kept for operational history purposes. If you want to delete or correct your data, write to us — we will delete the data within a reasonable time after contact, unless a legal obligation prevents this.
Cancellation and deposit
- To confirm a booking — a 10% deposit; the remaining 90% on arrival.
- 7+ days before — 100% refund of the amount paid.
- 3 to fewer than 7 days before — 50% refund of the amount paid.
- 2 days or less — amount paid non-refundable.

- If the tour is cancelled for our reasons (weather, safety, small group), we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
